NeurAG

The Freiburg Neuroscience Federation NeurAG („Neurowissenschaftliche ArbeitsGemeinschaft“) is an association of researchers in the Neurosciences at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. NeurAG was inaugurated in 1991 and pursues the following goals:

• to promote the scientific interaction and the exchange of techniques and results among the neuroscience research community in Freiburg,

• to improve and coordinate the teaching programs in the neurosciences for advanced students at the Albert-Ludwigs-University,

• to disseminate the research activities and accomplishments of the Freiburg neuroscience laboratories to students, researchers and to the public audience.

Beyond Freiburg, NeurAG participates actively in the tri-national network Neurex www.neurex.org), a network of laboratories working in the Neurosciences in the Upper Rhine valley (Freiburg, Strasbourg, Basel), with the aim to promote exchanges across the Rhine river and across borders between scientists and students working in all fields of Neuroscience in public and private institutions.
